We bet you didn't realize all the different options you have for house logs. Milled logs give you the warmth of logs and ease of construction. We offer 3 main profiles in milled materials, and accents can be manufactured to tie into any of these profiles:

Lathed (milled round)

• Consistant size for straightforward assembly
• Available in smooth, planer-peeled, or hand-peeled
• Saddle Notches
• Can be Swedish-Coped or left round
• Black Dog recommends chinking this profile
  

D-Log

• Round on outside, with flat surface on interior
• Tongue & Groove design for straightforward assembly
• Corners can be butt & pass or 3/4 log covering the corner
• Profile is generally insulated between logs and not chinked
  

Timbers

• Square of Rectangular profile
• Easy Assembly
• Corners can be dove-tailed, butt & pass, or 3/4 log
• Black Dog recommends chinking this profile
  

Black Dog Timber also mills specialty beams, lumber and logs.
